Spaceship Earth Adventures

…. is about bikepacking, fly fishing and photography in the Southwest. A person riding a bicycle or hiking will see more in a mile than a motorized tourist will see in a hundred miles. I often go out on adventures as a lone wolf and enjoy meeting and sharing the experience with others. Readers of this blog whom might be interested riding in Arizona might find this a good source of information for where to camp and inexpensive family owned hotels. Get some insight about places to see and some natural history. Get a little information about the rural communities hospitality and their great food.
While other parts of the country is experiencing below freezing winter like conditions southern Arizona November – April has temperatures ranging from 30 to 80 degree’s. Early springtime late March – April with temperatures ranging from 40 to 90 degree’s is when the desert wildflowers and cactus blooms. Late springtime May – June temperatures start approaching the 100 degrees and above in the low desert. Northern Arizona Mogollon Rim, White Mountains in the Apache – Sitgreaves National Forest has temperatures ranging from 30 to 80 degrees.
